A cut from the breast or lower chest. Firm, fairly fatty cut that makes a delicious pot roast or can be braised or poached. Good inexpensive cut for slow cooking that yields delicious results.
Perfect in the slow cooker or on the BBQ,
Slow cooker ; 1kg boneless joint, ideal cooking time on this is 70mins in some beef stock or red wine, put desired veg and potatoes in with the beef.
BBQ: 2.5kg boneless joint, Smoother Brisket in your chosen BBQ seasoning, wrap in foil and cook on the bbq for 3hours. Take the joint out of the foil and leave to crisp on the coals for 40mins
